RPS Distinctions Groups
LRPS Distinctions Group
This group was set up by Louise Brown to encourage and support members working towards gaining their Licentiate membership (LRPS distinction) of the Royal Photographic Society. The LRPS is the ‘entry’ level of the RPS distinctions and is a very achievable goal for enthusiastic photographers!
The group’s first meeting was in February 2014 and since then 20 members have achieved LRPS success, and the numbers continue to grow as new members join the group. We are extremely fortunate to have on hand the advice and guidance of two RPS advisers at our meetings.
Please note that this regular Distinctions Group only assists with preparation for LRPS, not the higher RPS levels (Associate or Fellow).
ARPS Distinctions Group
This group was set up in May 2017 at the request of members to provide advice and focus for those moving on to Associate membership of the RPS. Those who came to the initial meeting are now making progress with their ‘A’ panels.
Details to follow.
You can view some members’ successful panels on the Distinctions Gallery.
